During the treatment, the machine simply does its job; it cools the fat cells at the area which is being treated. While its working, you can read a book, watch a film or work.

Once the gel pads have been applied to the skin, the treatment heads are positioned. Once they are in place, the machine is turned on. At that moment, the skin is sucked into the treatment heads and you may feel a pinching sensation and perhaps a tingling feeling. This feeling soon fades, however, as the skin is cooled. There will always be a specialist on hand during the start-up phase. After the treatment, the skin will be massaged by the specialist. This ensures a better result. The entire treatment is described by our clients as painless.

This very much depends on the desired end result and the areas that are being treated. During each treatment, we use two treatment heads so that we can cool a larger area each time. Two treatments can also be planned one after the other, for example for different parts of the body. You must have a break of eight weeks between treatments on the same area of the body in order to allow the body to remove the fat cells.

Absolutely. The Clatuu Alpha has a CE mark which means it is approved for use in Europe. The device is also regularly checked by certified bodies and our own specialists  who are experienced and trained in carrying out treatments with the Clatuu Alpha. A checklist will also be used prior to treatment to gauge your medical status and a specialist will be present during each treatment.

In order to protect the skin, we use a gel pad between the treatment head and the skin itself. The skin is never in direct contact with the device.

No. Immediately after treatment, you can carry on with your day; you can cycle home, do some exercise or go back to work. The treatment is not an operation and you do not need any anaesthetic so you can just get on with your tasks.

The initial results are visible within 3 to 5 weeks of your first treatment. Twelve weeks after the first treatment, you return for a check-up. We will then take new photos, which we can compare with the photos before your first treatment. You will then see the result you have achieved.
