1. First consultation, free and without obligation

The first consultation is always free and there is no obligation to have the treatment. During this meeting, we discuss the options and your wishes and expectations. We also note your medical and personal details, including your BMI score, any disorders or complaints that could be relevant, the zone you wish to have treated and the volume of fat that you would like to remove. The appointment takes place in our Amsterdam or Rotterdam clinic.

2. Personal treatment plan

On the basis of the initial consultation, we will draw up a personal treatment plan for you. This will be done during the first consultation so that you know exactly what to expect in terms of treatments and the corresponding costs. If you agree, you sign the treatment agreement and we can plan the first treatment.

3. Fat freezing treatments

On the day of your first fat freezing treatment, you will come to our clinic at the agreed time. In a separate room, we will take 360° photos of the zone we will be treating.We then outline the area where the treatment head must be placed.

In another treatment room, you will lie down on a comfortable bed. A gel pad will be applied to the skin and then the treatment head is positioned. The specialist starts the Clatuu Alpha and the skin with the subcutaneous fat layer is sucked into the treatment head. After a short while, the pulling, sometimes tingling, sensation disappears and you can relax. Many clients read a book, watch a film or do some work. After 40 minutes, during which the skin is constantly cooled to -9°C, the cryolipolysis treatment is finished and the device is removed. The specialist massages the treated skin for another two minutes and you can then get dressed.

It is possible to have another treatment immediately afterwards if that involves another area of skin. If you are treating stomach fat, for example, you could first treat the top half and then the bottom half. We can use two treatment heads per session. So, we can treat four areas in one day. This could be the same area, such as your stomach, or multiple areas, such as the hips and thighs. The same zone, however, will not be treated multiple times in one day!

If you are planning on a second appointment, we will make another appointment right away. Otherwise, we will plan the post-treatment check-up.

4. Second treatment, if needed

Depending on your goals and the zones to be treated, you may have a second treatment. If this is in the treatment plan, it will take place eight weeks after the first session. The treatment is the same as the first but we don’t take any photos.

5. Post-treatment checks

Twelve weeks after the first treatment, you return for a check-up. We make new 360° photos so that you can review the results that you have achieved.
